The Witch tells Aslan that he is lost. The Witch says she will kill Aslan instead of Edmund as they agreed. This sacrifice will appease the Deep Magic. The Witch however explains that once Aslan is dead there will be nothing to prevent her from killing Edmund as well as the other three children. Once Aslan is gone the Witch will be Queen of Narnia forever.
